Following the announcement of the forthcoming closure of rise, the rise membership has now overwhelmingly voted for assets to be transferred to its subsidiary, the Social Enterprise Mark Company.

The Social Enterprise Mark is campaigning to make social enterprise the business of choice, for everyone! There are more than 400 Mark holders across the UK, working in many different ways, with many different legal structures; but they have one thing in common - they have proved they are genuine against defined criteria for social enterprise.

All kinds of businesses are being awarded the Mark - from start-ups that have been trading for just 3 months, to established businesses which have changed their constitution to qualify for the Mark. Register for the Mark
